Kimani Akeem Roach
Founder, Unbound Education
Kimani Akeem Roach is an educator, researcher, and instructional leader dedicated to transforming mathematics and STEM education through innovation, data literacy, and technology. He founded Unbound Education to equip K–12 teachers with high-quality instructional resources, professional learning, and technology-driven tools that prepare students for an increasingly data-driven world. He currently serves as Mathematics Department Chair at High Point Central High School in Guilford County, North Carolina, and holds a master's in mathematics education while pursuing a Master of Science in Data Analytics.
Beyond the classroom, Kimani has served on a North Carolina mathematics curriculum review committee, contributes to a Data Science Professional Learning Community, and has presented at the North Carolina and Virginia Councils of Mathematics Teachers, as well as at international conferences on mathematics education research in Jamaica. Through Unbound Education, he's building a community of educators working to give every student the problem-solving and quantitative reasoning skills they need to thrive.
